Some of the most important Spanish words children learn start with “D.” From fun words, like dinosaurio, to daily routine words, like dormir, there is no way to escape learning about the consonant “D.” The free Spanish letter D worksheet is designed to help young students learn how to form «la de» while simultaneously learning “D” vocabulary.

Pronunciation
In Spanish, “D” is called «la de». It is pronounced «de» or «deh», where the “e” generally carries the sound of the Spanish “E.” As in most languages, the exact sound varies by location and dialect.
However, since phonetic alphabets vary wildly or are difficult to understand, the easiest way to learn to pronounce «la de» is to hear it over and over and to practice. Try one of these two videos to hear and practice the sound.
